Ages 7-12 Summer Camp 2020

  • WHAT: LTC is excited to announce that our Spotlight on Kids camp is expanding!  This summer our camp will be two weeks.  Our show “The Sarsaparilla Kid” will have additional performances.  But more importantly the extra week will increase our time to focus on the process of creating theatre.  LTC’s theatre camp is a great place for children to open up and express themselves, connect to the community, grow as people and find talents they didn’t know they had!
  • WHERE: Our Mechanic St. Playhouse
  • WHEN: June 15-26; 9am-noon each day; performances on June 26 & 27

History of LTC's Children's Programs

There have been many milestones in LTC's history, but we are especially proud of our children’s programs, established in 1998. It was the first year of our "Lunch with the Easter Bunny," and the first year of our educational Summer Theatre Camp which many families think is the best theatre camp around. Children clamored for acting roles in our 1996 production of Oliver!. So in 1998, we cast a dozen children in our musical Winnie-The-Pooh. Since then we have included children’s programming in our season each year.
