​I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change

Audition Dates:
  • September 21st at 2:00 and
  • September 23rd at 6:30 

Production Dates:
  • November 8-10 and 15-17

Audition Details:
  • Auditions will consist a 60 second or 16 bars song selection of your choosing and cold reads from the script. 
  • Please bring your clearly marked sheet music to the audition.
  • Pianist will be provided. 

Synopsis:
  • I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is a witty musical revue that tackles modern love in all its forms.: from the perils and pitfalls of the first date to marriage, children, and the twilight years of life. Set in the modern world and told in a series of vignettes and songs I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Chances traces the overall arc of relationships throughout the course of a life. An insightful and hilarious musical, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change will have audience members shouting, “This is my life!”

Some of our actors have had continued success learning a variety of accents via the Dialect Accent Specialist materials. These are a reasonably priced collection of downloadable audio dialect lessons by David Alan Stern. Learning Lines? Yes, There's an App for That!

There are a growing number of smart phone/device apps to help one learn lines. One that some of our actors highly recommend is LineLearner. An Actor's Companion, Tools for the Working Actor. is an excellent book for both those new to acting as well as advanced actors. It is a relatively short read, full of succinct and simply set forth principles and activities. Experimenting with these principles will enable you to give a better performance.
